1. Eligibility

• Open to residents of the United States who are at least 16 years old at the time of entry.

• Employees, affiliates, and immediate family members of the Sponsor are not eligible to participate.

• Void where prohibited by law.

2. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase or payment is required to enter or win. Use of the UC model is free to all participants for the entire application cycle.

3. How to Enter

• To enter, participants must:

  1. Use the University of California (UC) model in Athena at least once during the application cycle by submitting a grade request.

  2. Refer five other individuals, each of whom must sign up for Athena and use the UC model at least once.

4. Entry Period

• The sweepstakes begins on November 12th, 2024 at 12AM PST and ends on December 2nd, 2024 at 11:59PM PST.

5. Prizes

• Grand Prize: Free boba (one drink per week up to $7.50 per drink) for the winner’s freshman year (40 weeks).

• Early Bird Reward: The first 100 eligible entrants who complete both tasks will receive one free boba drink (up to $7.50).

• Prize is non-transferable and has no cash value.

6. Odds of Winning

• Odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

7. Winner Selection and Notification

• Grand Prize: The grand prize winner will be selected randomly from eligible entries after the end of the entry period.

• Winners will be notified via email within 3-5 days of the sweepstakes closing and must respond within 3 days to claim the prize. Failure to respond within this timeframe may result in disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected.

8. Conditions of Participation

• By entering, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions and any decisions made by the Sponsor, which are final and binding.

• The Sponsor reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants and may disqualify any entrant who does not comply with these terms.

9. Publicity

• By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to allow the Sponsor to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional and advertising purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

• The Sponsor is not responsible for any technical issues, lost entries, or other errors that may affect participation in this sweepstakes.

11. Privacy

• Any personal information collected from participants will be used solely for the purposes of administering the sweepstakes and will be handled in accordance with the Sponsor's privacy policy.

12. Disputes

• This sweepstakes and the rights and obligations of the Sponsor and participants will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

• Any disputes arising out of or connected with these sweepstakes will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in California.

• All claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys' fees.

• Under no circumstances will participants be permitted to obtain awards for, and participants hereby waive all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages, and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.

13. Modification or Termination

• The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the sweepstakes at any time without notice if factors beyond the Sponsor's control compromise the fairness or integrity of the sweepstakes. This includes one individual creating multiple accounts, which will result in disqualification.
